Allied Health Assistance
Our Allied Health Assistant (AHA) provides gentle, hands-on support to children and young people — from the early years through to young adulthood — as they work towards their therapy goals. Our AHA brings warmth, consistency, and encouragement, helping each participant practise skills in everyday settings so learning becomes meaningful and lasting.
What Is Allied Health Assistance?
Allied Health Assistants work under the guidance of our qualified therapists to support therapy plans across areas such as communication, sensory regulation, play, social connection, and independence. They help bridge the gap between therapy sessions and real-life practice — giving children and young people more opportunities to learn, explore, and grow in familiar environments.
Our AHA collaborates closely with our team and external providers to ensure a consistent, team-based approach to care.
