Disability Support Work
At The Whole Child Connection, our Disability Support Workers provide hands-on, compassionate support to children and young people of all abilities — from the early years through to young adulthood. We focus on helping each person grow in confidence, independence, and participation in their daily life. Our support is flexible, person-centred, and guided by each individual’s goals, strengths, and interests.
What Is Disability Support Work?
Disability Support Work is about walking alongside children and young people to help them learn, engage, and thrive in everyday environments.
Our Support Workers assist with daily routines, social and community participation, and skill-building — always in ways that feel safe, respectful, and meaningful.
We collaborate closely with families, therapists, educators, and external providers to create consistent and well-rounded care across settings.
