Lori Lazaro
Director / DIRFloortime Therapist / Key Worker
Lori is a VIT-registered Early Childhood Teacher with over 16 years of experience in early childhood education and development. She is known for her holistic, family-centred, and child-led approach, bringing strong knowledge and understanding to herwork with children. Lori has extensive experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, AuDHD, GDD, language disorders, sensory processing differences, and other developmental delays, tailoring her sensory-based approach to each child’s individual needs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with commendations from La Trobe University and is a member of the Golden Key International Honours Society.
Lori has worked extensively with children with diverse learning needs, specialising in Inclusive Education and Child Development. She is a certified Key Worker with Noah’s Ark Inc. and a DIRFloortime® Proficient Practitioner, providing play-based, child-centred therapy that focuses on building relationships and supporting children’s Functional Emotional Developmental Capacities (FEDCs).
Lori is also certified and trained in Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) by Dr Ross Greene, supporting children and families through collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-informed approaches to behaviour. She has completed clinical training in the Social Thinking Methodology in the U.S. and delivers this in a neuroaffirming, child-centred manner that honours each child’s neurology, strengths, and communication style.
Outside of work, Lori enjoys travelling, dining, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Leanna Salle
Admin Officer
Leanna is currently in her final year at Monash University, studying a Bachelor of Science. She brings strong organisational skills, clear and effective communication, and a warm, approachable personality to her role. Leanna has previous experience working as a Support Worker and as an assistant facilitator in Social Learning Groups, where she supported children and young people to build social and emotional skills. Her reliability, professionalism, and genuine care make her a valued asset to the team.
