Lori is the Director of The Whole Child Connection and a VIT-registered Early Childhood Teacher with over 16 years of experience in early childhood education, child development, and early intervention. She is recognised for her holistic, neuroaffirming, family-centred approach, partnering with families to help children reach their full potential through play, connection, and everyday experiences.

Lori has extensive clinical expertise in child development and early childhood intervention, supporting children with autism (ASD), ADHD, AuDHD, global developmental delay (GDD), language disorders, sensory processing differences, and other developmental challenges. She is skilled in identifying developmental differences, recognising when further assessment or specialist investigation may be beneficial, and supporting families from the diagnostic process through to ongoing intervention.

With extensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach, Lori is experienced in helping families navigate the NDIS journey- from understanding eligibility and accessing funding to implementing meaningful, evidence-informed supports that build on each child’s strengths and everyday routines.

As a certified Key Worker with Noah’s Ark Inc. and a DIRFloortime® Proficient Practitioner, Lori provides relationship-based, play-centred intervention that promotes children’s Functional Emotional Developmental Capacities (FEDCs). Working within the Key Worker model, she collaborates closely with families and other professionals to deliver coordinated, transdisciplinary supports that maximise outcomes while making the best use of a family’s NDIS funding.

Lori is also certified in Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) by Dr Ross Greene, supporting children and families through collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-informed approaches to behaviour.

Outside of work, Lori enjoys travelling, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
