What Does Dietetic Support Look Like?

Support is tailored to your child’s nutritional needs, preferences and everyday routines. The dietitian works with families to understand current eating patterns, identify nutritional needs and develop practical strategies that support adequate nutrition and positive food experiences.

Working Together

A dietitian can add an important nutritional perspective to your child’s broader support team. With your consent, the dietitian can collaborate with parents, Key Workers and other allied health professionals to ensure nutrition and feeding strategies complement your child’s developmental and therapy goals.

Dietetics services are provided independently by an Accredited Practising Dietitian.
